I have been thinking about having breast augmentation on and off for several years now and just finally took the plunge last Friday. Overall I had a positive experience; however, I have been having severe, sharp, shooting pains throughout both breasts. I called my doctor and my patient coordinator assured me it was normal and advised me to continue taking my vicodin. However, I am a concerned because I am in quite a bit of pain. Is this normal? Has anyone out there experienced anything like this and if so, how long does it last?
